Bespoke Cabin Tucked in the Bush
Framed by escarpment views and wrapped in the scent of Spotted Gum, Aframe Kangaroo Valley is a one-bedroom retreat where the pace is deliberately slower. Designed by Ben Gray Architect, this sustainably built cabin makes use of recycled timbers, re-milled telegraph poles, and 150-year-old terracotta roof shingles reimagined as underfoot flooring in the bathroom. Inside, north-facing windows soar seven metres high, drawing in shifting light, swirling morning mists, and golden sunsets.
Outside, 16 acres of native bushland unfold into rainforest, with kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and wedge-tailed eagles as your neighbours. Evenings are best spent in the wood-fired hot tub under a canopy of stars, or by the fire with local wine and sourdough from the village. Whether marking a milestone or simply pressing pause, Aframe invites you to reconnect with nature in understated luxury.
