The Burrows

Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia

Character-Filled Retreats in Historic Aldinga

Set in Aldinga’s historic precinct on the Fleurieu Peninsula, The Burrows are two character-filled retreats shaped by heritage, imagination and a strong sense of place. Surrounded by old stone cottages, the former blacksmith and the undertaker next door, the stays feel as though they have always belonged.

The Little Burrow opened in 2024, followed by The Tiny Burrow in 2025. Each can be booked separately or together, offering intimate accommodation for couples, solo travellers, friends or small gatherings. Rich in detail, the spaces reward curiosity through handmade artworks, hidden references, secret doors, chessboard floors and a chandelier-lit outdoor bath beneath the sky.

The magic is subtle rather than theatrical, with luxury expressed through atmosphere, craft and thoughtful rituals. From personalised wax-sealed letters to handmade treats and carefully arranged lighting, the guest experience begins before arrival, while coffee, boutiques, the local brewery, the beach and nearby vineyards are all within easy reach.
