Starfall Cove

Binalong Bay, Tasmania

A 1950s Beach Shack Near the Bay of Fires

Just moments from the turquoise waters of the Bay of Fires, Starfall Cove is a relaxed 1950s Tasmanian beach shack designed for sandy feet, slow days and easy coastal living. Perched in Binalong Bay, it carries the warmth of a classic family shack, layered with colour, comfort and thoughtful personal touches.

Welcoming guests since early 2025, the home has been transformed from a simple black-and-white palette into a joyful coastal retreat. Three bedrooms make it suitable for families, couples or small groups, while quality linens, handwritten notes and considered arrival details create an immediate sense of care.

Outside, the firepit anchors evenings beneath wide Tasmanian skies, with firewood and marshmallows ready after a day by the water. Binalong Bay’s clear water, rock pools, hidden coves and Main Beach are within easy reach, along with local favourites in St Helens. More than anything, Starfall Cove is a place to rinse salt from your hair and feel that nothing much is required.
